The Quilliad is pretty close to our hearts at Apple of my Odd Eye, since all of us have contributed to the publication at some time, and I myself am the editor-in-chief. The goal of The Quilliad is very similar to this collective’s aims, as the publication strives to make the amazing talent of Canada’s emerging and established writers and visual artists accessible, and to pay contributors for the privilege of publishing their work. The Quilliad‘s staff believe in respecting the creativity and hard work that go into writing, painting, and photography by compensating the writers and artists the publication works with. By supporting us through Kickstarter, you can help make the dreams of these talented people come true–and you can be rewarded for doing it! We have art prints, poetry on demand, pinback buttons, and, of course, copies of The Quilliad available as rewards for backers.
