“Roots III” – Sarah Y. Varnam
“Roots III” is part of a new painting series. There will probably be four, though I may end up making more, as I’m really enjoying the contrast of the black and white.

“Roots I” – Sarah Y. Varnam
Finally done! I posted some progress shots back in January–you’ll be seeing the finished version of Devin’s piece from that post soon as well. Making sure that none of the paint for the black background got in the white root lines took way longer than I expected, though I’m glad I persevered. I’m really happy with this one.
